Job Summary
Conduct screening and assessments for individuals seeking Safe Parking services, coordinating with outreach teams to link the unhoused community with shelter and housing resources. Monitor safe parking sites for safety, cleanliness, and rule compliance while performing check-in and check-out procedures, including participant intakes and communication of rule violations. Assist case managers by screening and assigning clients, tracking assignments in Client Track and HMIS databases, and helping participants access services like car repair and job training. Create care plans to achieve housing stability, attend weekly case conferences and quarterly CEP meetings, and provide referrals to agencies based on client goals. Maintain professional relationships with clients, ensure confidentiality, and adhere to all safety rules and practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of experience working with vulnerable populations
- knowledge of community resources in San Luis Obispo County
- Valid California driver's license
- current DMV driving record
- proof of insurance
