Job Summary
Represent CCMI at public events, job fairs, conferences, and community meetings to recruit program participants. Support and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and community organizations to strengthen recruitment pipelines. Manage job postings on external websites and assist hiring managers with drafting descriptions, screening applicants, and onboarding processes. Serve as lead staff for the applicant tracking system, Paycom, and build job requisitions. Proactively seek new community connections, build relationships with current members and alums, and facilitate engagement at the MN State Fair. Draft and send email communications through Mailchimp, curate social media content, and coordinate logistics for organizational events. Track recruitment efforts using data to evaluate and suggest improvements. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with 10-20% travel and some evening or weekend work as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years professional work experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Outgoing, self-starter, comfortable with speaking on behalf of and representing CCMI with external audiences
- Proven ability to work effectively with, interact with, and communicate with individuals coming from diverse backgrounds and communities
- Willingness to travel regionally to participate in outreach activities, job fairs, CCMI events, and partner meetings
- Valid driver's license
- At least 3 years of clean driving record
- Some evening and weekend work
- Overnight travel
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity/experience with AmeriCorps or other national service programs
