Job Summary
Provide high-quality nursing care, maintain accurate patient records, and administer treatments in line with policies and protocols within an Orthopaedic Outpatients setting. Ensure compliance with legal requirements, support departmental standards, and assist in training and orienting junior staff. Maintain professional development, complete mandatory training, report incidents appropriately, monitor clinical equipment, and adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct. The successful candidate must hold current NMC registration with a minimum of 2 years' post-registration experience in the UK, be IT literate with EPR system experience, and demonstrate a sound understanding of patient care fundamentals.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Minimum of 2 years' post-registration experience within the UK
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- IT literate with experience using electronic patient record (EPR) systems
- Basic understanding of patient care requirements within an Orthopaedic Outpatients setting
- Demonstrates a sound understanding of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and its practical application
- Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of nursing care with the ability to deliver high-quality, individualised patient care
