Job Summary
Outpatient TMS Psychiatrist needed to lead and grow the TMS program at LifeStance Health in New Jersey. Key responsibilities include participating in TMS training if needed, committing to at least two in-person clinic days per week for mapping/remapping visits (Metrowest area and Weymouth offices), conducting initial patient assessments (in person or via telehealth), documenting medical necessity using AMD templates, closely overseeing the TMS technician and co-signing daily treatment notes, monitoring patient progress and adjusting protocols, and providing discharge summaries to the primary/referring clinician. The role also involves representing the TMS program to internal and external clinicians, educating others, coordinating care, and contributing to program growth. Experience with TMS is valued but not required; strong BC/BE psychiatry candidates seeking a mix of TMS and outpatient work or a part-time role focused on TMS are encouraged. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in psychiatry
- BC/BE psychiatry candidates considered
- experience with TMS valued but not required
- ability to conduct in-person and telehealth assessments
- capacity to supervise TMS technician and co-sign treatment notes
- ability to coordinate care and represent program to clinicians
- willingness to participate in training for TMS
