Job Summary
The Outpatient Therapist provides mental health services including individual, group, and family therapy in various settings while collaborating with case managers and treatment teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required along with clinical skills for risk assessment and crisis intervention. Therapists use flexibility, time management skills, and a calm demeanor to manage responsibilities effectively. A valid California driver’s license and clinical registration with the BBS or relevant licenses are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Active APCC Intern, MFT Intern or ASW Intern registered with the BBS
- or active Licensed LPCC, LMFT, LCSW or Psychologist
- current valid California driver’s license
- current automobile insurance
- clean driving record acceptable to the organization’s insurance company
Desired Qualifications
- Post Master’s clinical work treating children and/or adolescents preferred
- Knowledge of DMH paperwork
