Job Summary
The Outpatient Therapist provides clinical behavioral health services at a designated DGS location, including evaluative, diagnostic, and psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Develops treatment planning using developmental factors and family/community systems, maintains an assigned caseload, delivers evidence-based modalities, crisis intervention as needed, and collaborates with school staff and community resources. The role includes supervision of Masters program interns and staff, timely clinical documentation, adherence to professional ethics, ongoing professional development, and travel to designated sites as required. Licensure in Delaware is maintained (LCSW, LPCMH, LMFT, or Psychologist), with at least two years of relevant post-graduate experience; bilingual abilities preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree which qualifies for licensure in the state of Delaware as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), License Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist.
