Job Summary
Outpatient Therapist - DBT Focus provides ongoing, developmentally appropriate, evidence-based, trauma- and recovery-focused outpatient therapy to clients in Network180’s Outpatient Clinic(s). The role is a 40-hour-per-week, in-office position located in Grand Rapids, MI, requiring a Master’s degree and state licensure or eligibility, with experience in DBT and trauma-informed treatment. Responsibilities include delivering individual and/or group DBT therapy to adults, utilizing CBT/DBT approaches, and working within a multicultural context. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Counseling Psychology
- Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed social worker, marriage and family therapist, or eligibility and licensure within one month of hire
- At least one year of experience providing individual and/or group DBT therapy to adults
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Thorough knowledge of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis; professional ethics and standards of practice
- Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and bridge language/cultural barriers
