Job Summary
Outpatient Therapist provides independent diagnostic, psycho-social and professional counseling for adults, adolescents, and families with complex substance use, mental health and co-occurring disorders. The role emphasizes reducing barriers to treatment by offering services during non-traditional hours, including early mornings as part of opioid treatment programming. Responsibilities include conducting in-depth clinical interviews, formulating psycho-social assessments and initial treatment plans, delivering individual and group counseling using reality, cognitive-behavioral, family, and evidence-based modalities, and collaborating with schools, employers, and families on treatment plans and behavior management. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a Master’s degree program in clinical or substance use treatment
- Accepting provisional or full license LCSW/LCSWA, LPA, LCMHC/LCMHCA preferred
- Preference given to candidates who are dually licensed with LCAS
