Job Summary
Manage and respond to emails and phone messages daily while attending all required meetings on time. Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy to clients using appropriate methods and techniques. Document all services rendered in the EMR and submit legible progress notes and encounter forms within required time frames. Complete intakes, paperwork, and referrals to case managers or higher levels of care as needed. Adhere to state regulations, managed care organization rules, and ACRP policies while maintaining compliance with licensing bodies. Meet minimum weekly billable hour requirements and complete continued education per standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or another related field
- Valid Pennsylvania LCSW or LPC license, preferred
- At least 1 year of professional experience in mental health or human services, preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong working knowledge of public and private community resources
- Solid understanding of counseling, therapeutic, and human service intervention techniques
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, patience, and skillfulness in working with clients, families, and other staff
- Ability to work as part of a comprehensive community mental health team and to represent the agency in the community
- Familiarity with community support systems, health care and human service resources, court and police activities, etc
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and administrative abilities
- Flexibility in days and hours available for scheduled work
- Knowledge of and the ability to adhere to a professional code of ethics
- Knowledge of and the ability to comply with the state's mental health agency requirements
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation
