Job Summary
Lead the overall leadership, coordination, and daily operations of the Outpatient Department and Surgical Services, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory compliance and accreditation standards. Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, quality improvement, and employee development through physician collaboration and a culture of accountability. Requires current Texas RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with a minimum of three years in perioperative nursing and preferred experience in outpatient surgery, PACU, and circulating nursing. Full-time role at Eastland Memorial Hospital District.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas or compact state with eligibility to practice in Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum of three (3) years of perioperative nursing experience
Desired Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
- Experience in outpatient surgery
- Experience in PACU
- Experience in circulating nursing
- Experience in sterile processing
- Experience in regulatory compliance
