Outpatient Surgery RN

Coordinate peri-operative patient care for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults by conducting assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Direct OR Technician and other personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards and ensuring efficient patient flow. Work under the supervision of the OR Charge Nurse and Director of Surgical Services to provide a continuum of care with surgeons and anesthesiologists. Participate in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services to support unit maintenance and organization. Adhere to all hospital policies and regulations. Requires current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, plus one year of perioperative experience. BSN and CNOR certification preferred.
