Outpatient Surg Center - PRN PACU RN

Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for post-anesthesia care unit patients using evidence-based practice. Coordinate safe quality patient care through interdisciplinary rounds, bedside shift reports, and just-in-time teaching while documenting outcomes and maintaining timely records. Partner with patients and significant others to align care plans with individual goals and cultural diversity. Complete mandatory education, competency assessments, and participate in performance improvement, research utilization, and shared governance activities. Serve as a preceptor for other nurses and staff to support workforce development. Adhere to TJC Patient Safety Goals and Wellstar Health Systems safety absolutes.
