Job Summary
Perform diagnostic and specialized ultrasound imaging, including vascular studies, with precision and compassion. Support radiologists and residents during complex or advanced studies. Act as a technical resource in your specialty area for colleagues across the imaging department. Uphold imaging standards while working independently and collaboratively across care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
- Registered with ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) upon hire, or within 12 months of hire
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or VT certification upon hire or within 12 months
- BCLS certification required and must be maintained throughout employment
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the care team
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient positioning
- Demonstrates understanding of the human development process
