Job Summary
Outpatient Therapist provides counseling and therapy to youth and families served, develops, implements, and supervises behavioral plans, educates school personnel, family service counselors, foster parents, and guardians on plans, maintains records of evaluations and treatment progress, and transports persons served as needed. Responsibilities include maintaining professional relationships with youth, families, community partners, and the public; ensuring timely documentation of progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments; and performing other duties as assigned. Requires Masters Degree in Social Work or related field and flexible/non-traditional hours to serve foster caregivers and families.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution
- 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred
- A valid advanced professional license preferred: LPC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LGSW preferred, or license-eligible
- Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in the service of foster caregivers, families of origin, and persons served
