Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities and pain levels, then develop and implement individualized therapy programs for sports injuries, post-operative cases, and chronic pain conditions. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, educate them on home strategies, and collaborate with referring physicians and PTAs to ensure cohesive care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes while fostering a motivating environment for active participation. This full-time role offers flexible scheduling and includes mentorship opportunities within a multidisciplinary team focused on holistic recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a current Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, or eligibility for licensure
- A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a focus on recent advancements and techniques in rehabilitation
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated patient care experience within an outpatient clinical setting is preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members
- A passion for providing high-quality patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Two or more years of experience as a licensed physical therapist, preferably in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with patient management systems and electronic health records
