Outpatient Registered - RN

Outpatient RN CAP 1 entry-level position providing comprehensive nursing care for an assigned group of patients on hemodialysis, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, with potential delegation to direct care staff (RNs, LVN/LPNs, Patient Care Technicians). Works as part of the End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) care team under supervision, participates in decision-making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement. Responsibilities include data collection and documentation in the patient medical record, adjusting treatment plans as needed, patient/family education, direct provision of safe dialysis therapy, medication administration, emergency response, staff training/orientation, sample collection processes, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Requires successful completion of CAP requirements to advance, and may involve travel to training sites or other facilities. The role emphasizes adherence to Fresenius Kidney Care policies, regulatory standards, and maintaining a drug-free workplace. Relates to supervision of Patient Care Technicians/LPNs/LVNs/RNs as a Team Leader or Nurse in Charge after meeting training and experience prerequisites. # Location: Deer Park, TX (United States) # Full-time, on-site nursing duties with potential for travel and multiple facility assignments.
