Job Summary
Outpatient RN in a Per Diem role providing clinically competent care for an assigned patient group in a dialysis setting. Responsibilities include data collection and analysis around hemodialysis, education for patients and families, monitoring and adjusting treatment plans, medication administration, emergency response, staff training assistance, and adherence to CAP requirements. Requires an accredited nursing program graduate, active state RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and RN experience with nephrology/hemodialysis; travel to training sites may be required. Fresenius Kidney Care emphasizes quality improvement and teamwork within the End Stage Kidney Disease care team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
- Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment
- Minimum 9 months RN experience
- Minimum 3 months hemodialysis experience (Chronic/acute)
- Entry level for RN with less than 2 years Nephrology Nursing experience (RN)
