Job Summary
Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) in Fresenius Kidney Care CAP program. Provides and coordinates clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis. Performs duties under supervision with guidance from the Clinical Educator/Preceptor or RN leadership. Administers medications as prescribed, manages emergencies, educates patients and families, and collaborates with direct and ancillary staff to deliver safe hemodialysis care. Participates in CAP requirements and supports quality improvement activities. Entry level designation into the Clinical Advancement Program; requires up to 2 years of nephrology nursing experience and current state RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification. The role may involve travel to training sites or other facilities and may require lifting and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
