Job Summary
Outpatient RN in Fresenius Kidney Care CAP program providing and coordinating clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, with potential delegation to RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians. Works within the End Stage Kidney Disease health care team to participate in decision-making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities. Responsibilities include data collection and documentation during hemodialysis, patient/family education, safe delivery of dialysis therapy, medication administration, emergency response, staff training, and adherence to policy and regulatory standards. Travel to training sites or other facilities may be required. Requires graduation from nursing program, state licensure, CPR/BLS, and prior nephrology experience preferred; entry-level opportunity with CAP pathway. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
- Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
