Job Summary
Outpatient RN within Fresenius Kidney Care, providing and coordinating clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, with responsibilities such as education of patients/families, delegation to direct care staff, administering prescribed medications, emergency response, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and facility operations. The role requires graduate nursing education, active state licensure, CPR/BLS certification, 9+ months RN experience and 3+ months nephrology dialysis experience; and holds a CAP entry-level designation with potential CAP advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
- Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed
- Minimum of 9 months experience as an RN
- Minimum of 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis
