Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for CAP 1 in Fresenius Kidney Care. Responsible for assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of care for an assigned group of dialysis patients, including delegation to direct care staff (RNs, LVN/LPNs, Patient Care Technicians). Performs data collection around hemodialysis treatment, adjusts plans as needed, provides patient and family education, and collaborates with the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure safe, effective dialysis delivery. Supports transplant and treatment options education, participates in quality improvement activities, and may supervise other staff as a Team Leader or Nurse in Charge after completing required training. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current state licensure, CPR/BLS, and applicable state practice requirements; entry-level experience in nephrology nursing preferred.
