Job Summary
Outpatient RN CAP 1 role providing clinically competent care in hemodialysis with assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group; coordinates care with RN/LVN/LPN staff, administers medications per protocol, participates in staff training and quality improvement, and supports education for patients and families; requires nursing degree, active state RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and minimum RN experience with dialysis exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current CPR BLS Certification
- Must meet practice requirements in the state employed
- Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience
- Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (preferred)
