Job Summary
Outpatient RN in Fresenius Kidney Care's CAP program delivering and coordinating clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis; duties include patient data collection and analysis, treatment plan adjustments, patient/family education, delegation of tasks to direct care staff, administering medications, emergency response, staff training support, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and facility operations. Requires RN licensure, CPR/BLS, nephrology/hemodialysis experience (preferred), and CAP program progression; travel to training sites may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
- Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment
- Must have minimum 9 months RN experience
- Must have minimum 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis as an RN
