Job Summary
Outpatient Registered Nurse in Fresenius Kidney Care CAP program providing and coordinating clinically competent care for an assigned group of hemodialysis patients. Responsibilities include data collection and analysis during the dialysis process, updating the patient care plan, education for patients and families, coordinating with RNs/LPNs/LVNs/PCTs, administering medications, emergency response, and contributing to staff training, with potential travel to training sites. Must have RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and CAP program requirements completion; entry-level experience in nephrology nursing preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
- Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience (RN)
- Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (preferred)
