Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) in Fresenius Kidney Care's CAP program. Responsible for comprehensive, clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned patient group. May delegate tasks to RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians. Functions within the End Stage Kidney Disease care team to contribute to decision-making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities. Performs nursing duties under supervision, with direct patient care activities in hemodialysis, documentation in the medical record, education for patients and families, administration of medications as prescribed, and coordination with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs. Requires completion of CAP requirements to advance, and may involve travel to training sites. Requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, active state licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and relevant dialysis experience.
