Job Summary
Outpatient RN CAP 1 in the Clinical Advancement Program providing clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation; responsibilities include education for patients and families, delegation to direct care staff, coordination with the interdisciplinary team, and participation in quality-improvement activities; supports sustained education, training, and supervision of staff, and ensures accurate documentation and adherence to nursing practice standards in a Fresenius Kidney Care facility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
- Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed
- Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
- Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (preferred)
