Job Summary
Outpatient RN for Fresenius Kidney Care with CAP entry-level designation; administer and coordinate hemodialysis care, document assessments and plans, educate patients and families, supervise/coordinate with direct care staff, and participate in quality improvement. Requires graduate nursing education, state RN licensure, CPR/BLS, and minimum RN experience with dialysis exposure; travel to training sites possible; heavy patient handling and clinical responsibilities included.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current CPR BLS Certification
- Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment
- Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience
- Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (preferred)
