Job Summary
Outpatient RN CAP 1 in Fresenius Kidney Care. Responsible for assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, with delegation of tasks to direct care staff. Participates in education, leadership, and quality improvement activities within the End Stage Kidney Disease care team. Administers medications per algorithm, initiates emergency responses, documents in the patient record, and supports transplant/treatment modality education. Requires RN licensure, graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, CPR/BLS certification, and minimum 9 months RN experience with at least 3 months in chronic/acute hemodialysis; entry-level nephrology nursing experience considered. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current CPR BLS Certification
- Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment
- Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
- Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (preferred)
