Job Summary
Outpatient Registered Nurse role in Fresenius Kidney Care CAP 1 focusing on the provision and coordination of clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, education to patients/families, direct hemodialysis care, collaboration with direct and ancillary staff, administering medications, participating in staff training, ensuring proper lab handling, and contributing to quality improvement within an End Stage Kidney Disease care team. Entry-level designation with CAP advancement requirements and travel to training sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
- Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed
- Minimum 9 months experience as a RN
- Minimum 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis as a RN
