Job Summary
Outpatient RN for Fresenius Kidney Care responsible for coordinating and delivering clinically competent care to patients undergoing hemodialysis. Provides assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care, may delegate tasks to RNs, LVNs/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians, participates in teaching, leadership and quality improvement activities, and ensures accurate documentation in the patient record. Includes education for patients and families, participation in CAP requirements to advance, and possible travel to training sites; role emphasizes direct patient care, safety, and collaboration with interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
- Minimum 9 months RN experience
- Minimum 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis as an RN
