Job Summary
Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) position in Fresenius Kidney Care's CAP program. Responsible for assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, with potential delegation of tasks to direct care staff. Provides education to patients and families, collaborates with the care team, administers prescribed medications, participates in emergency response, and supports quality improvement initiatives. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active state nursing licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and prior nephrology/hemodialysis experience is preferred. The role includes patient care duties, supervision of staff, and capability to travel for training or other facilities as needed. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
- Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed
- Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
