Job Summary
Outpatient RN CAP 1 providing and coordinating clinically competent care for an assigned patient group undergoing hemodialysis; responsible for assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, with potential delegation to RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians, while participating in decision-making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities within the End Stage Kidney Disease care team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current appropriate state licensure.
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
- Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.
- Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
