Job Summary
Outpatient RN at Fresenius Kidney Care (CAP 1) providing clinically competent care across assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned patient group. Delivers hemodialysis therapy, administers prescribed medications, documents in the patient record, and adjusts care plans as needed under supervision. Educates patients and families, collaborates with direct care staff to ensure safe delivery of hemodialysis, participates in quality improvement, and supports transplant modality education. Includes shift rotations (MWF 4:30am-10pm, Tue/Thu/Sat 4:30am-5:30pm with every other Saturday), potential travel to training sites, and supervision of bedside staff after completing required training and gaining RN experience in nephrology. Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current state licensure and CPR/BLS certification; entry-level with <2 years Nephrology Nursing experience; chronic/acute dialysis experience preferred.
