Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

The Outpatient RN CAP 2 role involves accountable, clinically competent care for an assigned patient group in an End Stage Kidney Disease setting, including assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and potential delegation to RN/LVN/LPN staff; functions within the Fresenius Kidney Care policy framework; collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe hemodialysis therapy, administers medications per approved algorithms, provides patient/family education, leads and mentors staff, and participates in quality improvement activities. The position may include preceptor duties, CAP requirements, and travel to training sites as needed, with heavy lifting and patient handling typical of a dialysis unit environment.
