Job Summary
Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) in Inova Cardiology Arrhythmia Clinic on a full-time day shift (Mon–Fri, 8:00–4:30 or 8:30–5:00) providing comprehensive care in a physician practice setting. Responsibilities include full intakes, reconciliation of medications, patient education, stress testing (regular, echo, and nuclear), INR management, and delivering safe, holistic care while guiding and mentoring team members. Requires RN licensure in Virginia (or eligibility), BSN/ADN with BSN within 5 years if applicable, and BLS certification; preferred candidates have cardiology or related experience and ECG rhythm identification proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience: 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience.
- Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
Desired Qualifications
- Greater than one year of RN experience in addition to prior Cardiology Nursing background such as in IMCU, PCU, Tele, CVICU is preferred.
- Must be proficient with EKG rhythm identification
