Job Summary
Inova Health seeks a Psychiatrist to join its inpatient psychiatry team (Inpatient Psychiatry, IPAC) with a broad continuum of mental health services including detoxification, PHP, IOP, and outpatient care. The role operates within a trauma-informed, patient- and family-centered care model and works within a multidisciplinary team (psychiatrists, licensed therapists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, and mental health technicians). The unit emphasizes CPS-guided problem-solving and collaborative care, and opportunities exist across facilities for full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules with VA licensure requirements. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited institution
- Board eligible or board certified in psychiatry
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
- Successful completion of psychiatry residency program
- Payer credentialing ability to enroll as CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
- Successful credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges
