Job Summary
Deliver customized physical therapy sessions to patients, managing a caseload efficiently while applying expert knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care. Implement cost-effective, evidence-based treatment modalities and oversee rehabilitation exercises that restore motion and enhance mobility. Collaborate with patients to develop comprehensive care plans and work alongside physicians, chiropractors, and occupational therapists for holistic management. Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment progress in the Web PT EMR system and continuously adjust plans based on patient feedback. Provide individualized care to active adults and seniors recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, sports conditions, or orthopedic surgeries. Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM onsite in Freehold, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey
- A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques
- Capable of designing and implementing effective exercise programs based on patient assessment
- Familiarity with EMR software, particularly Web PT
- Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest treatment techniques and evidence-based practices in the field
- Experience in sports rehabilitation and functional movement assessment
- Background in working with diverse patient populations, particularly athletes and active individuals
- Competency in utilizing therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy techniques
