Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Summary
Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Provides coordinated and comprehensive patient care within an interdisciplinary team approach, applying research-based techniques to examine, diagnose, and treat conditions that limit movement and function. Supervises PTAs, Rehab Techs, students, and volunteers; participates in achieving department goals and objectives; manages supervision of therapy assistants in accordance with regulatory standards. Submits accurate charges for services via the EMR in line with departmental policies. Requires licensure in MD/OH/PA/WV or Physical Therapist Compact License and BLS within 30 days of hire. 40 hours per week, Exempt status. Works within WVUHS system and WVU Health System network.
Required Qualifications
- Current physical therapist licensure in applicable state (MD, OH, PA, WV) or Compact License or Temporary License where applicable
- Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date
