Job Summary
Evaluate, assess, and treat patients in assigned areas, developing and adjusting treatment plans based on functional needs. Coordinate services with physicians and other healthcare professionals while providing education to patients, families, peers, and the community. Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and function as a clinical instructor for students and interns. Maintain current knowledge through performance development plans and participate in program or staff development projects.
Required Qualifications
- California Physical Therapist License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 0 - 3 years Clinical experience as a practicing therapist
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree: Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy
- APTA Member
- Completed a project or special assignment relate to program or staff development
- Served as a clinical instructor for interning students and participated in presenting in-services to staff/students
- Participated in at least one community service event over the past year
