Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, geriatric conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Guide clients through therapeutic exercises and stretches while administering modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy. Educate patients on body mechanics and home exercise programs, then monitor progress by documenting changes in range of motion and strength. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists to ensure cohesive care. Prepare treatment areas and provide emotional support to foster a positive healing environment. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility for patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York
- At least one year of experience in a clinical setting
- A commitment to ongoing professional development

- Excellent communication skills
