Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical health and functional status, then design and implement individualized therapy plans based on clinical assessments. Monitor patient progress in home care settings, making adjustments to treatment methods as determined by ongoing assessments. Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation exercises and recovery strategies to promote independence. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance care quality and stay informed about latest physical therapy developments. Primary focus includes patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Full-time onsite work in Marco Island, FL, with flexible scheduling including 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., or four 10-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid Florida physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Demonstrated solid interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
- Excellent time management skills to balance a caseload while providing thorough and compassionate care
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's degree
- A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient physical therapy, ideally with exposure to home care settings
- Experience in developing specialized treatment plans for diverse patient needs, particularly post-operative rehabilitation and chronic pain management
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and treatment plans efficiently
