Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify rehabilitation goals, then develop and administer tailored plans featuring therapeutic exercises and manual therapy. Monitor progress meticulously, adapting treatment strategies as needed to optimize recovery outcomes for adults and geriatric patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Provide education on movement mechanics and injury prevention while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to integrate holistic care approaches. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with practice advancements. Work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, within a supportive outpatient facility equipped with modern modalities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Possession of an active Physical Therapy license in Florida or eligibility for licensure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical environment
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Experience with specific populations such as sports medicine or post-operative care
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care efficiently
