Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on patient evaluations and physician prescriptions. Conduct comprehensive assessments, including diagnostic tests to evaluate muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities. Direct and supervise physical therapy assistants while administering therapeutic interventions such as manual exercises, traction, and modalities. Evaluate home environments to recommend modifications promoting client independence and safety. Monitor patient progress, documenting responses and communicating with physicians regarding plan adjustments. Prepare detailed clinical records and engage collaboratively in interdisciplinary case conferences. Submit a resume and cover letter detailing qualifications and motivation for applying.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- One (1) year of relevant clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient or home care setting
- A current physical therapist license in good standing in Florida
- Certification in CPR
- A strong commitment to clinical excellence and a patient-centered approach to care
- Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues
