Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities, implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore muscle function. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure service quality while administering therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, traction, and physical agents. Provide in-home physical therapy services per physician prescriptions, complete regular home environment assessments, and document all patient interactions adhering to clinical standards. Collaborate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and educate clients on exercise techniques and device management. Requires Virginia licensure, one year experience, and a valid driver's license; salary ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally in an outpatient or home care setting
- Active physical therapy licensure in good standing in the state of Virginia
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
