Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical cases and sports injuries, to design effective treatment strategies. Create and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's specific needs and functional recovery goals. Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to enhance patient outcomes. Educate and instruct patients on correct movement mechanics, home exercise programs, and strategies aimed at preventing injuries. Collaborate closely with orthopedic specialists and medical staff to provide comprehensive care, ensuring continuity and coordination in treatment efforts. Maintain meticulous patient records in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, adhering to documentation requirements and best practices in data management.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Oregon
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
- Strong communication skills
- Proven capability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent
- Experience in an Assisted Living Facility or similar environments
- Previous work experience with geriatric patients
- A passion for helping patients achieve meaningful recovery and rehabilitation outcomes
