Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries to develop tailored treatment plans and implement interventions aligned with physician directives. Provide comprehensive care including ongoing assessment, patient and family education on in-home exercises, and adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure coordinated care for individuals addressing functional disorders and mobility limitations. Requires a Florida PT license, three years of outpatient experience, and CPR/AED certifications. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 annually with dental, vision, health, and tuition reimbursement benefits.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program
- A valid state Physical Therapy license in Florida
- A minimum of 3 years of experience practicing in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Mandatory certifications including First Aid, AED, and CPR Certifications
- Strong background and proficiency in treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal health conditions
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency in word processing and computer systems for documentation and reporting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with advanced rehabilitation techniques
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
