Job Summary
Conduct personalized physical therapy interventions to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore muscle function for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and neurological impairments. Assess client capabilities through diagnostic testing, evaluate home environments for independence modifications, and administer therapeutic exercises including manual therapy, traction, and physical agents. Collaborate with physical therapy assistants on individualized treatment plans, supervise their clinical performance, and participate in interdisciplinary case conferences. Administer prosthetic and orthotic device evaluations while maintaining meticulous clinical documentation in electronic medical records systems. Provide client education on functional movements and home practice strategies. Full-time onsite role in Lincroft, NJ with a salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary proceedings
- Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and the development of effective exercise regimens
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, particularly Web PT, for precise and timely documentation
- A commitment to staying current with evidence-based physical therapy methodologies and best practices
