Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities and establish tailored treatment goals for diverse populations ranging from post-operative cases to chronic pain management. Develop and implement individualized plans focusing on mobility, pain reduction, and functional restoration while administering manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound. Oversee care delivery by collaborating with physical therapy assistants and regularly document progress in clinical records to ensure compliance. Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to modify treatment plans and educate patients on self-management techniques. Maintain current knowledge through ongoing professional development and training opportunities within our outpatient facility in Cape Coral.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- At least one year of professional experience as a physical therapist
- A current and valid physical therapist license in the state of Florida, and in good standing
- Current certification in CPR
- A valid driver's license and automobile insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management
- Prior experience in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Specialized training or certification in a treatment modality, such as dry needling or sports therapy
