Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories and performing assessments, to determine appropriate treatment recommendations. Develop individualized treatment plans involving patients and families, applying advanced techniques tailored to unique conditions while adjusting protocols based on progress. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to document significant changes and modify care plans, overseeing comprehensive discharge planning and follow-up processes. Manage time efficiently to meet productivity expectations, participate in departmental initiatives, and pursue professional development through continuing education and mentorship. Work Monday through Friday in our outpatient office serving diverse populations including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and sports injuries.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid Virginia State license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with a clean professional record free from disciplinary actions.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice methodologies.
