Job Summary
Deliver individualized physical therapy treatment to patients, conducting thorough orthopedic evaluations to identify movement impairments and functional limitations. Develop and implement tailored care plans incorporating manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and gait training while educating patients on non-surgical alternatives and lifestyle changes. Manage a balanced caseload to ensure high-quality, focused interactions, continuously assess treatment efficacy, and modify approaches to optimize outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical records system and collaborate with medical professionals to coordinate care. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher from an accredited program
- A valid and active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient orthopedic care
- Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program development
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and positively impact patient engagement and adherence
- Familiarity with EMR software, with experience in Web PT or similar systems
- An extensive understanding of current physical therapy best practices and treatments supported by research
- Experience in sports rehabilitation and the treatment of acute injuries
- Continued education in specialized treatment methodologies or certifications in advanced manual therapy techniques
- Exposure to or experience with interdisciplinary collaboration in functional recovery and rehabilitation plans
